I believe we need to integrate, but we need to do it with a plan. Oh look, a squirrel! Just chasing the bright shiny object, spending time, effort, and money to implement, but without any direction of why, how, or what next, is a recipe for failure.
Markets change, rates change, and the seasons change. Technology is not only confusing, but it also breeds laziness. Resiliency is crucial.
My guest on this Episode is Mr. Nelson Goulart, Broker/Owner of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.
He entered the world of real estate sales in 1989, and spent many years as a top producing agent with a national brand. He became a partner to a brokerage in 2005, was part of a management team that brought the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand to Canada in 2011, and has now settled into his favorite role as a Broker Owner, along with his wife Maria by his side.
He implemented testimonials and reviews for his office before it became popular with Google and Amazon. He was an early adopter of Social Media platforms when many brokers and leaders thought it was a fad. And his name is frequently mentioned in REM Real Estate Magazine as a Broker and industry leader.
His two latest announcements; partnering with Zillow based Search engine Monster Zillow, and second equally significant, he was the first in Canada to launch 'home listing search' using voice search on Google Home, and Amazon Alexa.
