We spent 2 powerful days at the Blue Mountain Real Estate Conference in beautiful Collingwood, ON, put on by my good friend Andrew Fogliato from Just Sell Homes.

Having so many rock star Realtors together in one place, I had to take the opportunity to record a MindShare PodCast. So I invited 4 awesome people to join me, for what was a very fun, and of course informative conversation. 

Charlene De Silva is the Vice-Chair for the Ontario Real Estate Associations Young Professionals Network (OREA YPN). She has a background in Marketing, is a strategic thinker, an expert negotiator, and she has been exposed to the Real Estate business for over a decade.

Sean Ryan is a Broker with over 13yrs of experience in Real Estate. He is a Father, a Marketer, a Realtor, and has been heavily involved in his community over the years acting as President of The Sarnia Seaway Kiwanis, he has sat on the board for the Y.M.C.A., and has also been involved with the Sarnia Chambers Young Professionals Group.

Jessica Botelho grew up in the world of Real Estate (just like me), having a Father who has been selling, brokering, and managing for Remax for many many years. She has learned this business from the ground up, and she brings a world of knowledge with her. Although she fits into the "millennial" generation, she is an expert at implementing the old school with the new school.

Drew MacIntosh is a Father, a Brother, a Real Estate Team Leader, and an Entrepreneur. He lives and works in Orillia, ON, and has built a business with 38% coming from Realtor to Realtor referrals. He prides himself on relationships, and truly knows what it means to connect with people on a consistent basis. 

We have 2 kinds of Realtors in this industry…either the newbies, and/or the ones kicking around for 5-10 years but who aren’t really sure what they are supposed to do every day. They’re maybe getting by, and most likely struggling. 

Then there are the ones who see it as a career. They get up everyday knowing what to do. They're comfortable with what they do, whether it’s a good market or a bad market, they deal with it and keep moving. They have a plan.
